The Brighton Hot Dog Shoppe is a staple for breakfast for my family and friends...the breakfasts are tasty and so cheap!!!...I had moved away for a few years after college and can remember looking forward to coming home to visit and get breakfast and some cheese dogs @ the 'dog shop'!!!....always enjoyable....make sure you try it!!! |

Breakfast is inexpensive for all the food you get.....you can choose what you want and how much......coffee is free as is the refill for you. It is clean, good for the kids to be there with the family atmosphere....clean including the restrooms. They have smoking and nonsmoking seating also.
The staff is prompt in bringing the food, and the wait staff is friendly, good attention to detail, and efficient. The Lunch and Dinner menus are great with the burgers and hot dogs; sometimes they also have a really good fish sandwich when it is on the menu..... just a lovely place to be in. |

I work there.... and the food is great (if you don't have to eat it everyday) especially breakfast. Many people enjoy HDS beause it is a family oreinted and people associate memories, but working there... it sucks when you are very shorthanded and customers yell at you and you aren't paid a coparable rate |
