Frank's is a Baton Rouge standard for locals, especially for breakfast. The food is standard American breakfast fare, with Po-boys, specialty sandwiches, and burgers on the menu for lunch. Country cooking, nothing fancy	Feb 20th, 2005
I've eaten at Frank's 3 or 4 times for breakfast within the last year. It is exactly what I expect from a "country" style restaurant. The food is hearty, home cooked style. Typical country quantity, you won't leave hungry. There is nothing fancy about Frank's. Not the cleanest place, the menus, tablecloths, etc. are sticky! Overall, if you are in the area, especially for breakfast, I would recommend giving it a try.
