Betty's A1A Cafe was simply wonderful the friendly atmosphere and the ocean view only enhanced the food.
The fried shrimp and the onion rings were both tops! Keep up the good work and when we are in the area again we will definitely drop in. |

I will agree that the overall comments on Betty's A1A are true. The food is great and the people are even better.
Be sure to take lots of patience with you and make sure you are not too hungry because it will be a while before you eat.
After feeling like being packed in a sardine can for an hour waiting for a table,we went down the road to Stella's and were seated right away, outisde as we preferred. (No outside seating at the new Betty's.)
What was once a quaint little place on A1A with great food and a friendly family atmosphere has turned into one of the busiest spots on the strip. I have never seen the parking lot anything but full.
The quiet ambiance while holding gentle conversation over the sound of the surf has now turned into busy chatter and hustle bustle and not pleasant. |

Betty's Dad ran the best fried clam bar in Brank Rock. Now Betty has surpassed him...fresh whole fried clams are wonderful...not too much batter and just enough oil to cook them sweet.
Other fish dishes are very good. Burgers are tender and worth a visit. |

I don't know the new address but Betty's needed to expand and bought the old Marko's Restaurant in Ormond by the Sea, just south of where they were. I heard they are doing great and the parking lot is packed on weekends. We ate at their first location at the old Gumbo's/Panama Jacks and their food was delicious. Especially the portabello mushroom sandwiches. If you're lucky you can see them roasting the red peppers in their big trays. Highly recommend you stop in. |

The food at Betty's A1A Cafe is delicious. Every time I go I eat something different. It is very hard to choose one favotite dish at Betty's, but I had to choose one I would say the Cheeseburger. The Cheeseburger is so big and juicy that some time I can bearly finish it. The servers are nice and Betty is friendly to her costumers. Thank you Betty for the great food. |

There is nothing bad I can say about this place! The burgers are big and delicious... Angus beef. The Blackened Mahi Mahi sandwhich is a real yummy pleaser. They also have chicken, shrimp salads that are GREAT!
The watresses are very friendy and just plain happy to serve the customers. Every time my Ice tea glass gets half empty somebody is topping it off!
The place is also Clean! There is a great view of the ocean and you can sit outside on the deck or inside with the A/C.
You're not gonna spend more then 8 bucks for a great lunch or dinner! Bring cash... no credit cards... but there is an ATM machine. |
