Tourists seems to enjoy this place but, having lived in Leadville, ask any local and I doubt you can find one who will recommend it. Ice cream is good but, food is poor and greatly overpriced. Service varies from fair to very poor. |

We have stopped in this restaurant for
20 years after coming from Vail or Aspen. Nice, very clean place,with clean employees.We always have to take half our food with us,as the portions are just huge. They have outside tables in the summer that face Mt.Elbert,the tallest mountain in Colorado. They have a children's menu,with cute boxes they give them. Food arrives quickly. We can even watch the Broncos on their tv's. They have hard ice cream and differant flavors of soft ice cream. The whole place is NON-SMOKING,thank goodness. We tell all of our friends to stop there, and never a complaint from any of them. |
