Not into giving the corporate monster your money, but craving a tasty burger?
Big Al's in Albany is your destination.
The burgers are fresh- and almost too big to fit in your mouth!
The fries are so-so to be totally honest, but THE ONION RINGS ARE HEAVENLY!!!!!!!!
Super friendly staff to boot! |

Burgers and chicken-breast burgers cooked on an open grill, milkshakes, huge baskets of fries and onion rings -- if you crave a burger prepared in a old-timey restaurant (because Al's has been around forever) this is the place to go. And after your meal, hop across the street to bowl a few at Albany Bowl, the best bowling alley in the East Bay. |

Great burgers and fries. A must-try in the Berkeley/Albany area. Casual dining with the smell of a hot working grill and lots and lots of burgers. |
