Okay, so it's not flashy. At all. In fact, this place may well be the antithesis of flashy. What it is, though, is a step or two up from franchise fast food. The menu is diverse, with gyros, burritos, hot dogs, fried shrimp, tacos, and incidentally, burgers. Meal portions are large, and I have yet to try anything on the menu that was not tasty. Prices are in the 4-6 dollar range. Drinks are Pepsi products, with free refills. Counter service is brisk and efficient, if not especially friendly. No matter. This is not the place to go to impress a date. This is the place to go right before or after the ballgame or movie with your friends, especially if you have a large group of friends with somewhat diverse tastes. Everyone can find something on the menu to suit them. |
